Personal Profile
Cheryl Daniels is a native of Detroit, Michigan and has been a professional bowler for over 23 years. To date she is a member of seven Hall of Fames including the Detroit and Michigan Bowling Hall of Fames the United States Bowling Congress, The National Bowling Association and most recently the PWBA Hall of Fame. Cheryl has 25 sanctioned 300 games and 15 800 series to date. When she is not competing she is coaching and managing Strike Masters Pro Shop located inside Astro Lanes located in Madison Hts., Michigan. One of Ms. Daniels other passion's is singing and composing music. Cheryl released her first CD " Dreams ", the title song being inspired by her desire to persue her first love bowling. One of Ms. Daniels songs " You Need Someone" was featured on the "Young and Restless' soap opera. She released her second CD, "Weekend" in 2011. Her performances include local clubs, fairs and performing the National Anthem for professional Baseball, Basketball and other sporting events.
Education
Cass Tech Highschool
I bowled all through my highschool years and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cass Technical High School. My senior year I won a National Junior Title and met one of my idols Donna Adamek. She encouraged me to try the tour one day.
1978-1981
Lawrence Tech University
Cheryl studied Architecture for 3 years and in her first year started the College bowling team at Lawrence Tech. She won the Spartan Masters Championship in 1978.
The following year she competed in her first Professional tournament and finished second.
